Communities and organizations everywhere are being asked to change in ways not walked before. We bring the experience, presence, and process to help you navigate with clarity and confidence — and we stay alongside you as the journey unfolds.
TWO DOORS
The same wayfinding, shaped for the communities we know best.
We listen deeply, attend to what is emerging, and make room for creativity. We also bring advanced training in organizational learning and evaluation methods that steward the change process with credibility, structure, and care.
Change is carried through relationships and deep listening to what is needed now, not by creating a plan and imposing it on others. We stay alongside you through the process and build your capacity to carry your vision forward, so it is genuinely yours and truly sustainable.
We help you distinguish what is essential from what is time-bound, holding tradition and innovation, planning and emergence, in creative tension.
A shared understanding of where you are going and how you will get there, anchored in your values and aspirations.
Change processes that honor complexity without overwhelming your people.
Strategy that is both values-aligned and operationally sound.
Learning that is rigorous and genuinely useful, telling you whether your mission is truly thriving.
A glimpse of what accompaniment looks like in practice.
FAITH-BASED COMMUNITIES
Facing declining enrollment, a post-college year-of-service program discerned what was most essential to its identity, and is now reimagining its gifts of accompaniment and community for women rebuilding their lives after incarceration.

A young foundation had named its values, but its grantmaking needed to evolve. Together we built a learning framework it now uses to shape its policies and examine its role in the community.

Christine helps organizations learn their way forward. For more than two decades, she has built the practices, systems, and relationships that let organizations learn from their own work and act on what they discover. As Senior Director of Evaluation and Learning at the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland, she cultivated the foundation’s first knowledge, evaluation, and learning system. She has co-led Grantmakers for Effective Organizations’ national Strategic Learners Network, co-founded Philanthropy Ohio’s Evaluation and Learning Peer Group, practiced with the Equitable Evaluation Initiative, and published on evaluative thinking in The Foundation Review. She holds a PhD in urban education policy from Cleveland State University and is a lecturer in Case Western Reserve University’s Master of Nonprofit Organizations program.
Her signature craft is image-based facilitation, which uses images to open conversations words alone cannot hold and give every voice equal standing. Trained as an art historian and certified as a mindful photography practitioner, Christine knows that seeing clearly takes patience. That patience, along with years of teaching and facilitating, makes her a steady companion in the messy middle, where what is emerging isn’t yet clear.

Kathryn’s professional and personal pursuits have taken her far and wide. While she has spent about half of her career in conventional settings—higher education and values-based leadership development—she has spent just as much time navigating terrain “outside of the box.” She taught in rural Japan for three years, spent a year bicycling across Eurasia, and launched an innovative, sustainable urban delivery service in the Pacific Northwest. She grounds her work and presence in contemplative spiritual practices; she holds an M.Div. from the Graduate Theological Union and an undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Bowdoin College.
Kathryn relishes helping communities and organizations navigate complexity and change. She was mentored by evaluation experts at Cornell University in inclusive, systems-based measurement, evaluation, and learning methodologies that center community voice and iterative learning. Since 2018 she has been drawing on her gifts and experience—her scientifically trained mind, deep listening capacity, strategic acumen, and evocative coaching—to support clients’ evolution and contributions to the common good.
